tab1“Every Street Should Have One”

Prayer Houses are a way to bless communities and streets by providing a place for people to come for prayer in their own street or neighbourhood. Set up and run by Christians living in the street, it is a nonpartisan, nondenominational gateway of God’s love from them to their neighbours.

Prayer Houses offer to pray for their neighbours on an as requested basis. They also meet for prayer at the Prayer House once a month for an hour at an open meeting for whomever in the street would like to attend.

The purpose of the meeting is to pray for God’s blessing and protection on the people living in the street, the neighbourhood, the city and its government.

It is hoped and prayed that local Christians will gather together in houses across their cities praying God’s blessing, protection and anointing on their streets and neighbours. And that these Prayer Houses would see whole cities transformed in all areas e.g. increased health and wellbeing, positive economic growth, reductions in crime, violence and lawlessness, increased sense of community, restored relationships and spirituality and people living in their streets in safety and peace.
